The Lumenok is designed to be used over and over to allow archers to follow the path of their bolts. Each Lumenok has easily replaceable batteries for dozens of well lit shots.

You can count on these to last a long time, they fit the bolt snugly, and are very visible at dusk and dark!

Pack of 3... shot 2 deer this year and the lighted nock didn't work on either shot. Very disappointing. Save your money and use your standard nocks.

Poor design, they force you into buying a tool to turn off their nocks once shot or gingerly use plyers and a rag to slightly pull out the nock. You can't pull it out by hand, not even if you're big, green and have a last name of Banner.

These will fit in carbon Crossbow bolt shafts (.300)- I used a piece of sandpaper tapped to my table saw fence and gently ground the shaft end using a miter gauge to keep the shaft squared. It does not take a lot to get the bolt end squared to its shaft so go slow. NOTE: if you want to use this method make sure the table saw is disconnected from the outlet. You do not need the cutting blade on the table saw; just the fence and miter gauge.- This simple trick was passed on to me by another reviewer, I've built 5 dozen Gold Tip Nitro 22" bolts- these WILL NOT fit the Nitro's, they do fit my Gold Tip Ballistic 22" bolts (I add 20 - 50 grains w/ GT FACT system for better FOC) these "Light up the Backwoods" Very well and Last a Long Time- Go Out and Get Some!!

4 stars ONLY because they aren't as easy to pull back (turn off) as one is led to believe. Very bright, well designed and turn on due to intelligent yet simple engineering - force! Maybe it's the Executioner arrows that require pliers to gently but forcefully pull them back a touch, I don't know. What I do know is I'm a happy customer!

These nocks fit my black eagle executioner crossbow arrows and they work like a charm. I tried them out in bright sunlite and could see it shining where the arrow was in the target at 20 yds. I am pretty sure when deer season arrives if I get a shot I will be able to see it hit, I did purchase a lumenok extinguisher arrow puller to turn them off and all it takes is to follow the instructions and they turn off nicely. I also like that the batteries are replaceable so they are not a one time thing when the battery does die. No matter what color you choose to use l'm pretty sure you would be as happy with how they perform, they do fit tight and I left them that way. I saw a video of a guy filing them down so they weren't tight installing them but they work just fine right out of the package and I see no reason to wear them out prematurely, it even says in the instructions that it takes between 20 to 50 lbs. of force to seat them and they should be turned on when they touch the shaft or something is not right. The small wire that is wrapped around the battery is a handy way to make sure the battery is good by touching the opposite metal tab on the nock. I will continue to use the lumenok brand and color and I would reccommend them if you are looking for a great performing crossbow nock.
