Very happy with this one. I ordered two, with one of them having a broken pin but the other one is as sturdy as it can get, so probably just a faulty one. It comes with a layer of thermal paste too which is very usefull cause the temperature can get pretty high when gaming. Would buy again if needed

This is a great way to add more hard drive space. This is just as fast as an internal SATA SSD when using a high speed USB-C port. I tested at 450Mbps transfer rate which is close to SATA3 speeds on a external device. It comes with a heat-sink and thermal pad and all the bits a pieces that you need to install. Perfect for an external Steam library or backing up pictures. Excellent value for the price!

This is a nice tool less m.2 enclosure. It even comes with two rubber grommets to hold the ssd down instead of a fixed screwed stand-off. The supplied thermal pad and heatsink are nice. Somehow the top of the heatsink is supposed to make contact with the metal housing?

Feels good, works well. The cooling patch heat sink does sorts fits. but its a little off-kilter. No problems copying 3TB of data. I used/am using this as a faster storage drive that I can access faster than pulling out the sled and disk drive. Enclosure feels nice I also wish the mounting of the SSD is with a screw vs a little rubber thing.

Avevo la necessità di recuperare dati importanti da un SSd nvme da 500Gb appartenuto ad un PC laptop distrutto dopo una caduta. Questo aggeggio mi ha permesso di recuperare tutti i dati, di formattare l'hard disk che adesso posso utilizzare come ssd esterno, il tutto per meno di 20 euro. Utilizzando una semplice interfaccia usb 2.0 , la velocità media di trasferimento dati da un hdd sata 2 interno al mio PC fisso non è stata molto diversa dal limite teorico dell usb 2.0, mantenendosi intorno ai 40Mb/secondo. Niente male.

I’ve purchased two of these separately…I liked the first and, when another brand failed, I replaced it with another one of these. I velcro-ed it to the lid of my laptop and it no longer dangles. What can I say? It works and is reliable!

Good quality, light weight and versatile due to the thoughtful usb A and C dongle. It could be a little smaller but i am not complaining.

ce boîtier est très pratique grâce à l'adaptateur USB C/ USB A. Montage très rapide. Personnellement je préfère toujours une petite vis pour immobiliser le SSD, bien que la pièce en plastique souple fasse le job.Le SSD est reconnu sans problème, ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas. Je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de tester la capacité de refroidissement du SSD à l'intérieur.

This enclosure works as expected. It cools adequately. The speed is excellent. My only issue is that the small plastic clip that keeps the cover on has fallen off and I can't find it. It doesn't the function of the device, but I will have to 3D print another piece to keep it together.
