I got this off a whim no clue if i even ordered the right one and I was Super right haha. I don’t even know how old this Mac is but I just wanted a back up charger. The moment you realized you forgot to pack your charger is wildly annoying so i had to get a back up. Great value. Fits perfectly. It charges and that’s what matters. The speed is ok. I work and charge so it’s just fine.

I got this to replace a failing MacBook Pro 15" charger. I can not tell the difference between this one and the one that came with my laptop. It has worked perfectly from day one. Keep in mind that this is the charging body and magnetic attachment only. It will plug into the wall and charge your MacBook, but it is not the longer extension cord that came with my laptop. However, I was easily able to utilize the extension part with this new charger to have the exact same reach and charge as before. If you do not have the extension part of your old charger, the extensions are for sale also. Either way this is a really good price to get my computer working like new again. I think this item charges at the same rate as the old one. As I have said, I can not tell any difference in look, feel or operation.

I needed a new charger for my MacBook Pro and this one exceeded expectations. It’s compact, works flawlessly, and the T-tip connector fits perfectly. I appreciate the built-in safety features—no overheating, and the charging indicator light is super helpful. It charges fast and feels just like the original.

Excellent charger replacement for my MacBook Pro 2015. No fuss, just plug it in and go.Unlike other replacements I have tried, this one does not overheat. It stays cool to the touch.The magnet is weaker than the original charger, but it is strong enough to stay in place.Great value for the money, much cheaper and durable than Apple chargers.

Arriving in generic white box, this adapter has the feel of OEM but the magnet is not as strong. This could be an annoyance but doesn't seem to prevent normal charging as long as the connection isn't disturbed. Also, the folding power prongs are somewhat more prone to folding back in. They're probably bashful. Still, as a lower cost alternative to the costly genuine Apple adapter, I'm giving this a PRONGS UP!

I was so excited when I saw that MacBook Pro chargers were becoming available at prices that were affordable (FINALLY!). I had been looking for a spare charger to keep in my backpack just in case, and jumped when I found this product. This charger is a great value and it checks all the boxes. It even has little things that flip-out so you can wrap your cable around them and keep it nice and neat! It really feels like a genuine apple product. One thing that I have to call out is that not all Macbook Pro magsafe chargers are the same. They look the same on the outside, but there is a slight difference in the how the pins are organized. I did not realize this just figured that because they looked the same, this would work with my 2021 Macbook Pro. Close but no cigar - they are almost identical, but the older models are just slightly different, so they magnet did not connect. This was 100% my fault and hopefully my review can prevent others from making the same mistake as me. If this model is compatible with your laptop - totally get one and keep it around because it's just peace of mind knowing you have a spare charger (that you didn't have to shell out $100 for!)

The charger was the perfect one for the Apple MacBook Pro and does a great job charging. It does not seem to overheat but I do not leave it plugged in when I'm not using it. It seemed to be a good value for the price I paid and I like how it folds up so I can put it away in my carrying case to make it easy to transport to my different locations.

The cord on my last MacBook Pro became frayed from frequent use (light, at home). It was nearly identical to this power adapter (same markings, etc.) though a different brand on Amazon. Unfortunately I needed to replace it, and chose this adapter.It's also nice to have a spare AC adapter, in your bag, your car, or in that other place when using your computer for extended periods of time.This adapter has been working very well, and while it appears in many ways to be the same as my last one, it is holding up very well. Like most power bricks like this, it does get really warm (some might say hot) while charging for a while (like if the computer battery needs a full charge). That's not uncommon amongst these power bricks.The MagSafe 2 magnet is appropriately strong (stays connected when moving the computer around) and so far it's performing very well. It charges my 15" MacBook Pro (according to Apple, this is for MacBook Pro 15" model years 2012 through 2015) and this is the 85W power adapter.This adapter is a great value and at less than 1/4 the price of the original adapter, you're getting a quality AC adapter for a lot less money.Overall I highly recommend.
