Broad variety of closures in different colors. Hard PE caps for better sealing; soft, light blue PE caps for more convenient handling (easy push on and removal of caps). Septa material used for the production of the snap ring closures has – aside from physical inspection – also been tested analytically. Red Rubber / FEP septum for routine analyses; for more demanding analyses: high purity silicone / PTFE septa. Cross-slit silicone/PTFE septa as a penetration aid for thick / blunt HPLC needles. Snap ring vials may alternatively also be crimped with 11 mm crimp closures, if used for GC purposes.
