By replicating the OE spun body design, the single laser fusion weld greatly reduces the possibility of a leak, and our compact, low-mass design also allows for greater thermal efficiency. This direct-fit catalytic converter is designed specifically for the 1997-2001 Honda CR-V and interchanges with OE parts 18160-P3F-A00 and 18160-P3F-A10, among others. Avoid potential exhaust leaks by using the included gaskets to get a proper seal. This replacement part is designed to meet or exceed Federal emissions requirements set forth by the EPA, complying with legal standards for OBDII Federally registered vehicles with California or Federal/EPA Emission systems.

I did not have any codes present, but I was feeling a serious lack in power from my 1999 Honda CR-V. My mechanic informed me that my catalytic converter was clogged up, so I purchased a new one from Magnaflow and had it installed. I was a bit reluctant to purchase a catalytic converter that was not CARB compliant because my mechanic suggested I purchase one, but considering I do not live in California and did not want to spend double, I went with this OEM spec catalytic converter. Recently passed inspection with no problems. Great product, fair price, good quality, and works as advertised!

This fit perfectly on my 98 Honda CRV. It did not come with bolts which most of them do not come with. You will have to either hammer out the old ones if you can get them off. This was the first replacement on this car and the 1 of my bolts was impossible to get off so I cut it. I used hardware from Home Depot and used spacers to tighten it up. You can also get the Honda bolts if you want but they cost about $15 each. It did come with the 2 rings shown in the picture on each end.My first order did have a defect though. It had a weld bead on the threading for the O2 sensor and had to be replaced. The replacement was sent to me via cross shipping. (they sent me one right away and I returned the old one before they would charge for the replacement) The replacement was perfect.I replaced both O2 sensors on this car just in case they might be bad at the same time. Here are the 2 sensors. , After putting it all in I cleared the code and it has not shown up since and I passed emissions. This is not CARB rated (California Air Resources Board) make sure your state allows a non CARB rated Catalytic converter before installing.
