Solid metal ring for using magnetic attachments. Works great. Had to remove the "red" plastic ring that came with the flash unit since it won;t hold my attachments. I guess there is some legal battle going on between Godox and Westcott so some of the V100's sold in the USA don't come with the metal ring, the come with plastic which won't hold attachments. This new metal ring comes with 4 screws and a little tiny screwdriver to swap the screws with. Worked great.
