What a cool way to spend an afternoon! With some help of an adult to get the tower together, kids will love this. We first built it just like the picture and instruction booklet showed. It is fantastic! The rotary elevator to take the marbles up is so cool! It is battery powered or has a hand crank. When you turn it on and put multiple marbles into play it is almost mesmerizing. I also love that sets like these can be used in so many ways. If you want to help them learn how to follow instructions you can use the booklet to follow step by step how to build it like the box is pictured. If you want them to be creative and build logic skills you can just build it any way you would like. It is a really super cute set that can be used with several ages depending on the support given. This set is being used in an elementary school library on STEM days.

This is awesome. I ordered this for my 5 year old. There is no possible way he could have built it himself. It took me at least an hour to build- I’m not great at building things- may not take everyone that long. But once it’s built, just leave it built. It’s fun, we had a good time with it. I really enjoy marble runs. It has step by step instructions, thankfully, and they are very clear instructions- it’s not really hard, I’m not really sure why it took me so long. I had fun doing it though. I absolutely recommend this. It’s sturdy, colorful, cute and entertaining.

This is a fun set for anyone to play marbles with and for building your own designs. The colors are bright and the characters are very cute and age appropriate in size and function. This is a fun set to play with your kids. Easy to follow instructions that allow some flexibility for your own creative minds.

About a year ago I introduced a similar but more basic set into a grade 2 classroom and it proved to be the most popular activity in the class. Because it was so fun and popular it proved to be an invaluable teaching and learning resource. When the opportunity arose to try out a more advanced marble set I jumped at the chance.Setting up this set was a half day process as a group activity with the entire class, it could have been a much quicker process but I took the opportunity to use the assembly as a hands on learning activity. We took it step by step and the students problem solved along the way. The instructions provided are clear and straightforward.Of course once it was assembled the true fun began. Marble play has stood the test of time and continues to be a favorite among students. The elevator can be hand cranked or battery operated. This set is versatile and designed to be used as directed but it can also be used as an independent learning tool, kids have the opportunity to configure the kit in whatever manner they chose rather than follow the step by step instructions. As the school year goes forward, smaller groups and independent assembly and play will be encourage.Overall the quality of this set is excellent. The materials and workmanship is well done, they are sturdy and durable. The only thing missing would be a more durable bag or container to store the pieces in, not a deal breaker, just a nice to have. For now I'm storing the pieces is bucket in the classroom.The YSITYUM marble run building blocks toy is a good value for the price point.

We had a blast building this together. It was a great use of our time together and promoted team work with my child. Once we finished building it, there was even more fun to be had with the marbles. Later on, my kid even rebuilt it a little different than how it went with instructions and was still able to enjoy it. Instructions were easy to read even for him.

This is a really fun and colorful set that would make a good gift.There are lots of different sets out there like this with different themes. I would consider this one of the top sets due to variety of peices, figures, and unique builds. It feels like it is more than just a marble run set.Highly recommend!!
