Shigaraki ware is a breeze made in Shigarami, Koga, Shiga Prefecture. It is said to have a long history of over 1200 years as one of the six-kilns in Japan. Shigaraki ware was designated for traditional crafts from the country in 1976. The name of the loofomon is the product of Shigaraki, which was used for the meaning of "Fugawari Mono". The variety of shapes created by nature, and the vessel has a variety of expressions just like our individual personality.
