I bought these exactly a year ago. I had long been searching for a consistent, jet flame, nimble, legitimately refillable, lighter. This has nailed it. I tried MG, other off brand imports, and they would either malfunction within weeks or months, or they wouldn’t take a refill well. I have this 5 pack spread around my house. They all get used daily. They all have worked every time I pick them up. The adjustable angle head is a feature I didn’t know I wanted. It just makes these even more pleasurable and easy to use. I have noticed the flame diminish in size… a little. But these lighters when on high setting, are pretty intense. I’ve used them effectively for crème brûlée. I don’t miss the intensity of the flame and I suspect it may have something to do with the diminishing pressure as the butane is used. So, filling it up may restore the flame intensity.Best lighter I’ve ever used. I’m thinking of buying another pack just in case they stop making them. They’re that uniquely effective.

They look nice and perform well for maybe a week at best. It doesn’t take long for you to notice that the maximum flame output quickly diminishes resulting in a weaker and weaker flame that’s shorter and shorter. Not worth the money. And despite this defect, there is no free return. Postage must be paid by the buyer to have items shipped back to the vendor in CA. Never again. Ever!

Serves its purpose well, specially at home. It has great flame for candles, blunts or burning a sage. The design is neat and fits my decors.
