This works well for testing boost leaks on diesel pickups. Seems to be decent quality at the price.

Full disclosure, I built from nothing a turbo kit design and manufacturing business and sold it about a decade ago. I still play with turbo cars and tinker around a lot. I actually made a custom tool just like this 20 years ago. I've been searching for pictures to post side by side for fun. When I say we made it just about exactly like this kit, I mean...this is like looking at the production version of our custom made set up.This kit includes all the fittings for the "feed" side, and in cases where you have to block the other end it includes matching "dead end" fittings. The regulator is again, exactly how we did ours and it works great. This way you can pressurize and test not only for leaks but stress test clamps, couplers and other components. More than once we started raising the boost on a system and all of a sudden "POOOSSSHHHH" off blows a charge pipe. That would have happened on the road or at the race track, I'd much rather have it happen in the shop. With so many factory turbo cars these days this is great to test the integrity of the entire system including the (after) intercooler. So many units with 60, 90, 150K miles are beat to death from highway debris and leaking boost like a champ.This kit is super high quality, something I would expect to get off the MAC Tools truck or the like. It's also got everything you'll need to pressurize your system. A+ from my viewpoint. I don't just slap 5 star reviews on everything. This is my honest, unbiased opinion.
