I like the dual display, it seems very accurate, east to install, very bright w/a couple options to dim at night. I'll buy this brand of gages again.

Gauge works perfectly for me. I know there are some negative reviews online, but I have nothing but good things to say about this product. Have been using it for 1.5 months now and it works flawlessly. Make sure that you properly hook up all wires. I soldered mine just to be safe. Again...great product and appears to be very well build. Happy customer

Easy install if you can access or adapt to a 1/8" NPT port in the block. Only thing is you gotta make sure the probe is in good oil flow to have accurate results. Gauge is easy to read with very clear instructions, stepper motor movement at startup looks great, especially with multiple units side-by-side..The only issue with this series is the gauge brightness (specifically nighttime settings) is pretty intense and can be distracting depending on install location.

Instructions were very good. What readings I could measure by other device puts them within range for accuracy. The trans temp is a little more off than the engine sensor. One of the sensors tab threading for the housing was not completely drilled out...had to have it tapped correctly so the sensor would set flush. Also, you can dim them, but still pretty bright. They need to sell a kit that will take about 25% of the light power down. Looks very good on the dash (that is why I bumped it from a 3 to a 4, along with the instructions and customer service in telling me what I needed to do to fix the sensor).

Great gauge, I took a star off because they're a bit pricey. I bought a trans temp and an oil temp, and so far I'm very pleased with both. I just think they could drop the price about $20 on these. As to the illumination being too much, I wired the white dimmer wire to the orange memory wire, so that whenever I start the car is comes on at the dimmest "night" setting. That works fine for me. If I need it brighter during the day, I just press the button a couple of times to the brightest night setting.

I tow a 4,300 lb boat and trailer with my 2003 Ford Explorer. I wanted to monitor engine oil temperature before the oil went thru the DeRale engine oil cooler. ( also purchased from Amazon) I mounted the sensor on a t-fitting just before the cooler. (I got the 1/2 inch nipples and brass t-fittings at Home Depot) If you do the same, make sure to mount the sensor facing down so there won't be any bubbles around the sensor that could give a false reading. Some people have posted that his guage is bright. Yes, it is bright but having it mounted next to a Max Tow tranny temp guage on the forward part of the console, isn't bright enough to distract me. If it were mounted high, I can see why this would be distracting. BTW, get a lot of compliments on these guages. My pre cooled oil temp was 206 degrees on a 95 degree day. Great guages !

Gauge is neat and works okay. Wire is kind of small in size and could have been larger gauge size. I installed in oil pan of drag race car w/diaper to monitor oil temps which it did flawlessly. Wire length was as stated, I shortened the power and ground leads which were under dash. No problems encountered! Thank's.
