Blower Motor Replacement Steps:
1. Remove the cover from the bottom of the lower dashboard - usually held in place by screws or clips.
2.Disconnect the wires from the blower motor.
3.Remove the screws securing the blower motor to the A/C control unit.
4. Carefully remove the motor from the housing. There will be a plastic wheel at the far end of the motor.
5. Gently remove the plastic wheel from the shaft.
6.If necessary, secure the blower wheel to the new motor with spring clips.
- 7. Reinstall the motor into the A/C control unit.
- 8. Once secured, reconnect the wires.
- 9. Check the function of the new motor for noise and vibration.
- 10.Reinstall the cover under the dashboard.
