I installed this fan only to discover that the motor is built crookedly in the factory-installed metal housing that surrounds it. That makes the blades scrape on one side. Amazon agreed to a refund. I just bought a replacement fan and it has THE SAME PROBLEM! This is crazy. Do not buy this fan.

This fan is very quiet. Love the large blades and the elegant look. Fan moves a lot of air. The remote makes it very easy to control. I have it mounted on a very high ceiling, probably close to 24 feet.
