This conversion kit is a total waste of mone6y. The oil filter adapter is supposed to be a 12mm Allen socket, which will NOT fit. Nothing in my toolbox will fit it. The only reason I don't return it is because the items have been soiled with oil. Don't waste your money!! I went to the John Deere dealer and spent less than $20 on the drain pipe and adapter.

The change over kit was perfect. It had everything that was needed and also came with extra itemsFor future maintenance, I would recommend this item.

Make sure you get the right tools:5/16 socket to remove panels,1/2" 12-point socket and extension to remove recessed square oil plug,28mm socket to remove oil filter assembly,12mm hex wrench to tighten nipple,tons of rags and paper towel.Shame on john deere for the 30- second scam. Could have saved a ton of hassle and mess if they put a $1 extension (3/8" x 4" galv. pipe) on the oil drain when they built it.And surely this system added at least $50 to original cost of the mower
