The paper was exactly as described. BUT, the mail person shoved it into my mailbox! When I opened the package, the outer wrapping paper was completely torn in a number of places, but the paper itself was not damaged. I had to find a box in which to store it!

I opened this package of aged paper and found there were other types of paper among the heavy paper. There is light weight paper, among the card stock....same color but not aged and not heavy. I don't understand why there is different paper among the pages. I picked up a bundle of 15 to print out a directory and there were several pages printed on the wrong paper. Now I have to sort the paper every time I use it.I did no get what I paid for.I will not be buying this in the future.

I wanted paper that could take and hold ink from fountains pens or calligraphy pens. Exactly what I was looking for at an affordable price. Many thanks

this paper looks nothing like vellum or parchment paper I have used in the past, its just brown paper.if you hold it up to the light you can see some marbling but that it.if this is bought to add a little panache to your mail, forget about it.people would wonder why you are writing to them on brown paper

I'm using this parchment for my wedding invitations. I love the price, a package of 20 sheets at Staples costs between $5 & $10, whereas I bought a ream of this (500 sheets) for only $20. The parchment is heavier than standard printer paper and takes the ink well. The packaging wasn't properly sealed, but none of it seems to be missing. Maybe checking the product before shipping? Anyways I suggest purchasing this product over purchasing a similar product from your local art-supply or office-supply store

I have been looking for a decent sheet of bulk packaged writing paper for right about 10 years and am so happy to have finally found it. The color is warm and looks great with the Herbin inks that I tend toward. Some sheets do seem to have a minor finish issue that produces some minor bleeding with my Pelikan 1mm nib with some lighter weight inks. My Pilot plumix italic nib runs great on it with no bleeding whatsoever (puts down less ink than the Pelikan). I would recommend this paper to any writer and would give it a 5 star if there was more consistancy from sheet to sheet where the finish is concerned (not a major issue... maybe 5% of your sheets will have a small patch where you will notice bleeding with lightweight ink).

I bought the aged shade paper for hand binding a book. The paper has a nice parchment coloring and is a good weight. It held up really well to tea staining and didn't rip at all when wet. It's exactly what I wanted for my project, including the price.

I am using this paper to make hand-bound books. It is smooth and firm and has a good hand, stands up well to folding. I bought the antiqued version and it looks like old parchment - a mellow, warm brownish and cream color. I am very happy with the product and with the price. I would definitely purchase it again.
