I bought these to mount a 4x32 scope on my AR. I also use a rail mounted brass catcher. So split mounts were a must. I have them mounted in opposite directions but they hold the scope well and allow room for the brass catcher. easy on and easy off. If they work loose when firing I will add a drop of blue thread locker.

I gotten these for a few of my rifles and they've been great for over a year. The screws have come loose once or twice even after tensioning to spec but it's never been an issue. They look great and are easy to install. I don't believe scope mounts should be as expensive as some review sites would tell you, these are great.

These are handy when you need the offset, no issues with anything I've ordered from MONSTRUM.

For the price I paid for I expected more than this poor paint job. Common Monstrum please get it right.. Im very disappointed. The fit is good so I give it 3 of 5 stars.

I was struggling to find a scope mount that could accommodate my Nikon 223. I must have tried at least 3 other mounts that said they would work, but all were too long. These mounts/rings allowed me to easily customize the difference and my Nikon now sits perfectly on my ar.

A $20 scope mount seems like a great deal if it lasts. The issue I had is that I had this mounted to a AR-platform and was never happy with the rifle/scope combo. I took it all apart for new rings and new scope and now I'm happy with that rifle. i saved these rings for a future build. Tried using them this morning on a new AR and while torquing the top screws down I noticed a piece of metal coming out the gap between the top ring and the base. Basically, using a torque screw set to 25 in-lbs, the screw head reamed out the bottom of the hole in the ring. That meant the screw would now go all the way down to the base instead of holding the top tight to the base. I like the fact that the base uses a sturdy nut/bolt that uses a 1/2" socket to tighten down the base. I don't like the fact that there's only 1 screw per side holding the top of the ring to the base, but if they put 2 screws per side on the rings it wouldn't stay a $20 mount. Bottom line is that if you need something cheap and quick and you're just building a blaster that you're going to use to fling a lot of lead downrange, this will be a cheap alternative. If you're trying to build a solid shooting system, then you're not going to use $20 mounts and expect durability or quality. If you built a tack driver with these rings, fantastic for you, but that wasn't my experience with them.

These rings are good quality product for someone who likes working on their rifle. First of all, this is almost exact copy of nikon p series offset mount. Very well built and priced. They are constructed of aluminum, so being bigger than regular weaver/picatinny rings they are lighter (about 71 gramm per 1 ring comparing to 80 gramms per 1 medium qd utg ring). I used them to mount utg 3-9x32 bug buster scope on a choate sks mount to bring the scope closer to my eye, eliminate shell deflector, and allow for the use of clips on my 1951 russian sks. Choate mount has non-standard groove-notch spacing, which makes the use of single-piece cantilever mounts not possible. And this is where the offset rings come into play. I have faced a couple of challenges that I could overcome just by using a siple file. Fitst, the flat portion of the front ring would interfere with the scope objective, which was solved by filing off the front ring. Second, the bolt you would tighten to mount the ring on the rail was too wide for the choate mount groove, 4.97 mm bolt size vs 3.79 mm groove size, which was still within the spec for picatinny rail (5.23 mm), but did not allow to properly mount the scope. The issue was solved by making the groove wider (to about 5.10 mm). Well, just like I mentioned before, this is a great product for someone who enjoys making things work if they dont fit fitst time aroud. And it is priced well. Overall, I am satisfied with quality and functionality of the product.

I haven't mounted these yet but it is a great idea and I'm sure I will have a use for them in the near future. They appear to be well made and shipped to my house in two days.
