Beautifully designed door handles. Very good value for money. Can't complain about it, but it seems that those door handles without key are available only in satin. It looks a bit odd to have polished and satin door handles in the same house, lack of uniformity is a concern.

Door Lever by Moquin - Wave Design, Privacy Lock Without KeysOil-Rubbed Bronze (with Copper Highlight Edges), ReversibleDoor Handle for Right/Left Side Bathroom/Bedroom DoorThe QualityI really looked this door handle all over while reversing the positions, so the waves are up (which is easy to do). It’s solid, clean, and smooth, with an even finish. There’s only one thing about these new “Oil Rubbed Bronze” Door Handles. I think they are actually glossy black with copper color highlights on the edges. They do look very nice with the illusion of actual Oil Rubbed Bronze, but I don’t know that they actually are.The FinishThey do, however, have a very good finish, and the copper color highlighted edges is a much warmer, better color than in the photos on this page.Reversing The Handle PositionsBEWARE The Ones With Pin Holes Instead of Set ScrewsI tried one of these once with a pinhole to reverse the door handle position so the wave is up. It’s still on my bedroom door upside down, because after a solid HALF HOUR of trying very hard, and putting a hole in my thumb, the tool they sent to poke something in the hole to release the handle NEVER DID release the handle! It jokes poked the heck out of my thumb.So make SURE the Door Handles you get have SET SCREWS.The LockThis one locks and unlocks very easily. You can actually get it open with your thumbnail if it's long enough.

I replaced two door knobs with handles. I ordered the handles for a bedroom and a closet door. I have similar door handles like this one in my home. It’s not just about continuity of the finish in my home but also about functionality. Door knobs are hard to turn for a person with manual dexterity issues. These meet the ADA requirements for my home.This handle is more substantial in girth, than the handles I bought from the big box home improvement store. Looks great and has good weight to it when it's turned to open.This kit comes with an Allen key to swap the direction of the handle. Both sides of the door handle come off and go back on very easily. Removing the handle is helpful when fastening the screws to the door. If the handle is not removed, it’s harder to get to the screws that fasten the handle assembly to the door. Pay attention to how the fixtures are installed so the handle removal is easily accessible.Since I was swapping the bedroom handle in a door that was already pre-drilled, I was concerned that the parts might not fit. The only piece I had trouble putting into place was the latch. The latch insert from this handle set is larger than the previous one, so I just had to use a wood rasp to make the hole a little bigger and then everything went together seamlessly. Even the existing screw holes matched up, perfectly. Not so for the closet handle I replaced. As you can see in the pictures, I had to chisel out some wood. It's not pretty but it functions properly. The other issue I had with the closet handle replacement was with the fasteners. I had to use different screws because one wasn't long enough, and I damaged the other ones when I was screwing them into the wood. If you have to make new holes for the screws, drill pilot holes. I didn't and that was my problem.The price of this door handles is on par with the ones I’ve found for the same application at the big box home improvement stores. I like the versatility of swapping handle directions and the price point.
