I was looking for a high quality DPDT toggle switch. I thought maybe this was it. But I was wrong.I’m a retired electrical engineer, so I know something about switches. This switch has four set of contacts, to complete four different circuits. My test for switch quality is to bridge each set of contacts with an ohm meter to find out how consistent each of the four circuits are completed. For this switch, two of the four seem okay. But the other two have a closed resistance that changes from activation to activation. The resistance across those contacts also changes if you wiggle the handle slightly, or put pressure on it. This is bad quality. If switching audio, the switch will be noisy. If switch power, the high resistance contacts can heat up. Also, the spring action of the toggle is weak compared to a high quality switch.I need a good switch, and am willing to pay for quality. The high price of this switch caused me to hope that I would get quality. Not so. Fortunately, I was able to return this switch.

"This Large DPDT Toggle Switch has three positions." . . . is in error as it only has two positions--On-On (reverse poles). Good switch. Prefer 93111 3-position for other purposes -- On-Off-On (reverse poles with center off)
