What a waste of time using this thermostat, also sold as a "Murray" thermostat. It caused erratic overheating on a 2002 Ford Escape V6. Replaced it with a Ford thermostat (188F degree) and all was well after that. Don't wast your money or your time on this junk. Get an OE thermostat. Yeah, it will cost more, but it will actually work.
