After installing it my spigot leaks one worst then the other, so much that I have to keep it hooked up to the hose so it doesn't run all over my sidewalk.

Used this on a 24yo Fusan 1019A frost free bib that was leaking when it was turned on. Struggled to find rebuild washers that fit and the kits that came close were almost as much as the stem...so given that the washer screw at the end was deteriorated and wouldn't come off, I replaced the whole stem and took about 15min.....turning the water off in the basement ceiling took the most time.Be sure to use faucet silicone on the threads and rubber parts and smooth operations !

I would not have normally purchased this product because it was not specified as a replacement for a Nibco 90 faucet, but after reading the review by Steven J. I decided to get one. I had looked all over for a Nibco 90 repair kit but couldn’t find one anywhere. Steven J. was correct in stating that all the parts needed for repair were compatible with the parts in this product. Although removing the faucet handle was difficult after many years of use, once off, the repair was very easy. The new washer in this product to prevent water from coming out around the handle was thicker than the original in the Nibco 90 but it still works fine. I would say that with these new components that the faucet works better than new because even when new, you had to turn the faucet fully on or there would be leakage out the handle. With these new components, there is no leakage out the handle front with any setting.

I fought the leak in my faucet for several years. I was told I needed to replace the complete faucet and would require dismantelling of the house. This solved my leak.

This rating is based on the manufacturer NOT offering a replacement part for there older hose bibs. This part fits only newer style units. What good is replacement parts for NEWER units. Are the new units that lousy that you only offer these parts? I rate manufacturers on how they stand behind there older products. Well you deserve a F-. I would try and persuade anyone considering this manufacturer B & K Mueller for any of there plumbing products lousy and not worth the money! Good like trying to fix there crap!

It didn't fit my Nibco 90 faucet but then the listing never said it would. I was able to extract enough parts from this assembly along with the rod from the original Nibco faucet to restore operation. My issue was water leaking out around the handle. A packing washer replacement had not resolved the problem.

The longest 8 inch stem (888-556) that I have seen. To long to replace my stem. Otherwise, it looks like an excellent product. Based on the product I received I guess I need a 6 inch stem. Local plumbing people told me to measure the entire length. The one I received is 12 inches long end to end. The 8 inch length on the one I received is from the first washer bump to the place where the rod is soldered to the end with the large threads (The end that goes into the facet first).
