I loved this when it arrived. Appeared to be well made and attractive…..however….. it cannot fit most of the mail. If you have a regulation sized business envelope then it’s fine but greeting cards or anything wider than 4-5 inches, doesn’t fit. My mail carrier got frustrated and left my mail on my front stairs.

Although the mailbox is beautiful, it had to be returned as it’s simply not practical for daily use, far too small for daily use. Additionally, the mailbox lid is rather heavy. It can be used decoratively.

Mailbox is sturdy and easy to install. I just had to go through the added effort of getting screws. I knew it didn't have the screws from the get-go; no biggie. The mailbox works for me because 95% of my mail is electronic. It's mainly there for occasional junk mail. Due to it size, it definitely would not work for someone that receives a lot of mail.

Great quality product. Hoverer, it is very narrow so if someone drops something into the bottom (i.e a key), very hard to get hand down to bottom to retrieve. Otherwise very nice product.

Stopped using fairly quickly. Mail slot to small! Mailman would trash mail trying to put in.

Love the look of this mailbox but it can't be used. I am keeping it and will hang it next to the back door or maybe somewhere inside the house. Unless you only get one piece of mail per week, your mail carrier will not be happy with this. To the manufacturer of this product, please consider making a similar but useable box. I'm sure it would be a hit!

Well constructed but lid needs to open further to allow for postal person to put mail in easier without trying to stuff the mail in.

I have been looking for a nice mailbox for years. Fell in love with this one - the style, size and because it is cast iron. I just received this as a Christmas present - but still have no put it up yet. NO SCREWS!If the screws would have come with it - this would have gotten 5 stars.
