5 stars MINUS ONE. This review will be exclusively for build quality and compatibility as I have yet to shoot with it. I Received this today and upon opening it I was pleasantly surprised! All items are neatly, albeit separately, packaged and of very nice build quality. The adapters fit perfectly on my Nikon lenses and fit snug which is a good thing. The glass is super solid (and seemingly high quality) with a very nice weight which I was not expecting. All components have their own cases except for the main body which comes with a very welcome sun shade which can fold flat to completely cover and protect the lens when not in use. Everything fits together nice however sliding in the actual filters takes getting used to especially if your coming from VND filters (screw type). The reason I switched to this type is because the VND filters I have used gave a very weird vignette at certain (darker) strengths and ruined a few of my images. With these filters there is not that issue. Regarding any vignetting: I haven't seen any on my 24-120 Nikkor Z at any focal length. I would have given this 5 stars but there are a few things that stopped me: The company ships this item in the OG packaging with no exterior box (which is standard). It was raining when it was delivered so the box got ruined and now I have nothing to store it in which leads me to my second larger issue: There is NO CASE/container provided to hold all the components which are 2x filter cases, 1x filter adapter case (VERY NICE BTW), and the actual lens holder/mount. It would be very easy for one or more component to get lost. If you don't care about keeping your gear components together then I guess you can add back that -1 star. All in all this is a superb value.

Die Mini Mattebox von Neewer ist gut verarbeitet, leicht und bietet mit den mitgelieferten zwei Filterhaltern eine gute Ausstattung. Die Haptik ist gut und durch dieses Teil sieht mein Kameraequipment gleich viel professioneller aus ;-) Die erste, im Dezember 2023 bestellte Mattebox hatte leider nach ein paar Einsätzen einen Defekt am Spannring und wurde problemlos über Amazon reklamiert und erstattet. Die Spannvorrichtung am Adaptering der nachfolgenden Lieferung ist bereits eine verbesserte Ausführung und funktioniert bis heute tadellos.

Good fit, easy to install, went ahead and bought the polarizing filters for it. Makes a big difference in the shoot compared to just using the camera lens. Add the filters and the quality of our videos being produced took a big step up. Another good product from Neewer.

I like it bc you can keep a filter on the lens while using this matte box. I can use 3 filters at a time. 2 with this matte box and 1 screw on the actual lens. It's quick to assemble and dismantle and the filters you add don't have to be the same brand. It's a really great affordable alternative to the pro stuff that runs $500+

This is a great looking matte box. It feels very robust and Neewer has definitely stepped up their game recently. Unfortunately for my needs, it will not work. I needed it to work with my Freewell circular VND filter. I wish I had a reason to keep it, but because it doesn't fit my setup, will need to return.
