I used this SCR to repair a motor speed controller that used a generic type SCR. It matched pin for pin to the generic one. It worked flawlessly once the controller was powered up. It has run for approximately 100 hours of intermittent use with no problems whatsoever. I'm pretty happy with this purchase and will buy an extra one or two to keep in my parts bin as spares.

Through no fault of the seller, the package was lost by USPS. After requesting a refund thru Amazon, I was contacted by the seller with a sincere apology. Again, not their fault.As for the item, it works perfectly! I'm not an electrical engineer, and I took a stab at what was wrong with the brand-new electric staple gun that was 'overjuiced' with 220v. Turns out it was a blown rectifier, because this little guy did the trick!
