Absolutely love this camera!! I’ve been looking for years for a camera that can track like this one.

OBSBOT Tail 2 PTZRカメラです。まず、特徴と良い点を挙げてみます。- 光学５倍ズーム＋デジタルズーム＝最大12倍の望遠で４Kを実現- フレームレート60fpsの滑らかな動き- かんたんに水平出しできる- 豊富なパワーサプライ（内蔵バッテリー／ PoE／USB）により、設置場所やシチュエーションを選ばない- ｆ値1.8で明るい- 暗い場所でもノイズが少ない- AI自動追尾機能- フルサイズのHDMI端子付き言うまでもなく、スイッチャーなどのメインコンソールを用意して、複数のカメラを設置する用途の製品ですが、Tail 2単体でもSDカードに録画することはできます。マイクを内蔵していないため、音声の収録を必要とする場合は外部マイクを本機に接続するかたちになります。いっぽう、本機の特徴を活かすためには、「OBSBOT TALENT」というエンコーダー／スイッチャー／レコーダー／モニターを一体化した製品を用意して、有線または無線で一括管理するのが良さそうです。無線接続はまだ試すことができていませんが、一般にネットワーク接続の安定性は機材同士の相性に大きく関わってくるので、同じメーカーで揃えて、セットアップの段階からメーカーサポートを受けられるようにしておいた方が安心かと思います。あと、こちらも別売で、しかも決して安くはありませんが、複数のカメラを操作できる、シリーズ専用のワイヤレスリモコンがリリースされており、願わくば揃えておきたいアイテムです。実際に使ってみると、置いておくだけで水平出しができるためセッティングに時間がかからないこと、カメラを設置して放っておくだけでそれなりの絵が撮れていること、電源をどこから取るかを考えなくてよい点が便利です。自動追尾は、いったん見失うと自動では捕まえることができないため、陸上のトラック競技を観客席から撮るには向きませんでした。お子さんのサッカーの応援などもおそらく同じで、限界があるのではないかと思います。というわけで、こちらは近い距離の被写体で使用すべき機能です。ちなみにマニュアルは付属しておらず、オンライン参照です。このあたり、初心者にはハードルが高いかもしれません。総じて、さすがに価格に見合ったハイスペックと便利さが得られる製品ですが、やはりOBSBOT TALENTあってこそかなという印象が強く残ります。いずれにせよ、マルチカメラを使ってプロクラスのライヴストリーミングが可能である点に変わりはなく、ニーズに合致するようであれば、積極的に導入を検討されるとよろしいかと思います。

I’ve been using the Zoom power house 2 for a few weeks now and it’s seriously impressed me thus far, the price tag is hefty but I now see why....For anyone doing livestreaming, content creation, or even more formal production work, this thing is a powerhouse. The image quality is insanely crisp thanks to the sensor and 12x hybrid zoom. I’ve gotten some shots that feel straight out of a high-end film set, and the 4K at 60fps is smooth, vibrant, and incredibly sharp, looks AWESOME on recordings.The gimbal design is one of my favorite parts. It makes switching between portrait and landscape effortless, and the stability is no joke. Even with a bit of movement or less-than-ideal setup spaces, or bumping the table and what not, my footage comes out super level and smooth.The AI tracking is way beyond what I expected too. It locks on like a pro, whether I’m filming myself, other people, or even objects. I’ve used the group tracking during a shoot with multiple speakers and it handled it flawlessly.What really sold me though was how easy it is to integrate. I’m using HDMI in my current setup to my macbook, and I didn’t need any extra converters or weird workarounds. Just plugged it in, tweaked a few settings, and I was rolling. Everything from livestreams to recorded content has leveled up with this.It’s professional grade, no doubt, but still super intuitive and not intimidating to set up.Would recommend and would order again

2025年4月29日に届きました。まだ細かく使っていないのですが、とりあえず使ってみた感じの所感をレビューします。※後日また詳細はレビューいたします。ちゃんとしたレビューをするまで時間がかかりそうだったのでまずは所感を。私はプロカメラマンとして生計を立てています。メインは写真のほうになりますが、動画の撮影も年に何度か行っています。（ピアノ・ダンス・バレエ・舞台・学校系行事）基本ワンオペで複数台カメラを設置し、同時に回して、パソコン上で同期させて編集というスタイルです。※ライブ配信等は知識疎いです。ソニーのα系のカメラとソニーの4ｋビデオカメラを普段使っています。場合によっては、10台程度カメラを設置し撮影しています。その程度の状態の知識のレビューなりますことご了承ください。ちゃんとしたPTZカメラを使うのは初めてです。（オズモポケット３を持っている程度）試しに数時間連続して撮影してみました。スマホに接続し、Aiで人物を追う等一連の機能を試してみましたが、私レベルの撮影であれば実践で問題なく使える機能と画質でした。4ｋで撮れ画質もきれいですし、ホワイトバランスもケルビンで設定できるし、遠隔でスマホ管理できるし、長時間録画も安定して撮れる。20万と高額に感じるかもしれませんが、決して高くないと思いました。※ソニーのVLOGCAMとかでも出始めはその程度したりしますし。これがあと複数台あれば、相当動画撮影の幅が広がるのではないかと期待値が上がっている状態です。実際現場等で使用したらまた追加でレビューいたします。ユーチューブでもレビューしているかたがちらほら出てきましたので、興味のあるかたはそちらもご覧いただけたほうがよいかと思います。とにかく良い商品だとおもいます！

For fast-moving subjects or when slow motion is needed, switching to 1080p at 120fps gives much smoother results. It's a solid balance between resolution and frame rate flexibility, depending on the type of content being captured.🧠 AI Tracking: The AI tracking does a fantastic job of keeping up with movement. If I step out of frame, it quickly picks me up again as soon as I’m back. It feels like the camera is always in tune with the action. What makes it even better is the ability to simply double tap on the screen to select the subject. It’s fast, intuitive, and removes the need for any extra menus or setup—just tap and go.🔍 Zoom: The zoom is incredibly smooth. With 5x optical and 12x hybrid zoom, I can capture shots from further away without sacrificing clarity. The zooming feels seamless, and it’s a joy to use for capturing professional video.📶 Connectivity: One of the great things about this camera is its versatility. I can connect it via NDI, SDI, HDMI, or USB 3.0, so it integrates easily into various setups for streaming or recording. Plus, it can be used wirelessly with both Android and iOS phones and tablets, which adds to its flexibility and convenience.💾 Storage Options: If you're not planning to live stream, you’ll need an SD card to record video. I also discovered that it supports recording to an external SSD via the USB-C port, which is great. But for simplicity, I prefer just using an SD card in the built-in slot—quick, easy, and reliable.🌙 Low Light Performance: I’ve used it in low-light situations, and it handles them quite well. The large CMOS sensor, paired with AI noise reduction, ensures the image stays sharp even when lighting is not ideal.🔋 Battery Life: The camera lasts around 5.75 hours on a full charge, which is perfect for extended filming or streaming sessions without needing to recharge.What Could Be Better:🎤 Audio: There’s no built-in microphone, so I’ve had to use an external mic. It’s not a big issue, but something to keep in mind if you need a complete setup in one device.🧩 Mounting: The camera doesn’t include a cold shoe mount, so if you want to attach accessories like a mic or light, you’ll need a separate rig. It’s not a huge inconvenience but adds a step to the setup.📏 Size: One thing to note—this camera is quite big. It’s not something you’ll casually throw into a bag. If portability is a key concern, it might feel bulky.Overall, the OBSBOT Tail 2 has been a great addition to my equipment. The 4K video, AI tracking, and smooth zooming give it a professional feel, and it’s super easy to set up—just a quick app update when I first opened the app, and I was good to go. The ability to use it wirelessly with Android and iOS devices is also a huge plus. While it’s lacking built-in audio and a cold shoe mount, the performance and features more than make up for it. Great image, we use it for podcast and ai tracking is good, I hope new updates solve colon problem but it is a powerful camera, u will need a iPad or phone to control the camera, but you have to exit of the camera control if you need to use more than one camera in iPad

Whether streaming or recording, indoors or out, the OBSBOT Tail 2 is at the head of the class. AI Tracking works well, even holding me in a crowd. The 4K sensor provides a beautiful image and the 5x optical zoom brings the action to you. Battery life is a real-world 5+ hours. Physical connections include HDMI, SDI, UVC and RS232 (PTZ control). Software connections offer RSTP, SRT, NDI. Throw in Wifi6 and BLE 5.4 and you have the ultimate mobile live streaming camera.

What a PITA this camera is.No audio output on HDMI, only on SDI.Software constantly screams at you about not having an SD card inserted.Literature claims it can do RTMP, but that's not true.Tracking goes bananas if it loses sight of your face.Software is glitchy, not intuitive, and has lots of "chinglish" throughout.Have to reconnect it to WiFi every single time you fire it up.Prone to noise from adjacent power sources.Will continue to use it up until my return window is almost up, but looking like it's going back.

I can't get it to connect as a basic webcam. I need it for zoom. The software screams at you that you need to put an SD card in it to function. I knew that was required for on the go recording. I will have to return it and the remote if I can't figure it out before the deadline. It's 30 days.
