Filing cabinet was dented on one side upon opening the box. We kept it but the box wasn’t damaged, the cabinet came that way from the factory.

Nice cabinet for the price. This is the second cabinet like this that I have ordered and I have had the other one for several years. The metal is not as heavy duty as the cabinets with a much higher price, but if you take care of it, it will last you a long time. I read other reviews prior to ordering this one and some people seem to be very critical of a product that is a good value for the money. If you are looking for something very heavy duty, just pay 2-3 times the price!

Utility wise it does the job, but kind of flimsy. Might have given more stars if it hadn't come with a side dented via shipping.

Cabinet looked like it was very well built in the pictures, but when we got it, it was built the same as the cheap ones at wal-mart. If you are looking for some cheap storage this is it. if you want something sturdy then you might want to look at something else.

This is a flimsy unit with no spacer to keep up the files. After using the lock several times it stuck. No matter what I did the key wouldn't unlock the drawer. I had to have my files for a client so I had to get in. I pulled on the lower drawer and the lock gave way and the metal bent. Obviously no security. Since I didn't start using the lock for a while it was too late to return it. What a piece of junk.

This file cabinet was exactly what I needed. It fits perfectly in the spot where I want it. It locks and seems pretty sturdy. The only assembly is installing the handles so it was easy for me to set up myself.
