Specially-designed telescope cover fits over 6", 8" and 10" Dobsonian reflector telescopes. Scope Cloak protects your Dobsonian telescope when it's idle, shielding it from the elements - dust, dirt, moisture, and sunlight. I was keeping dust off of my scope by covering it with a huge plastic garbage bag like the ones contractors use to dispose of hunks of sheetrock and other construction destritus. This worked, but it wasn't very attractive. The scope cloak is a huge improvement on a Hefty bag. It's better looking, made out of an extremely durable material, fits well over an Orion Skyquest 10 Dobsonian with a 9x50 finder scope and has a drawstring around the bottom so you can cinch it tight and make it harder for dust to get into your telescope. It even comes with a nice bag that you can use to store the scope cloak when your scope isn't wearing it.

What could you expect from a scope cloak? Well, this delivers. It fits my Orion XT 10 perfectly, all the way down to the bottom of the Dobsonian mount. The drawstring at the bottom is easy to use and effective. The material is first-class. Some have complained a little about the cost. That's valid. But I'm still happy with the quality and the fit.

I have a skyquest XT10i, and this just fits perfectly with all the modules attached. There is even a case for the cover, and the cover itself is of very good quality and it fits around the lower base/stand perfectly too, so you don't have to worry that it won't go around the lower base, it does, at least on the xt10i.

Bought this mostly for a dust cover for my Orion XT10G 10" reflector telescope. Works perfectly. Material slides on easily, fits well, and does not collect dust itself! Sometimes I even leave an eyepiece attached (probably shouldn't), which bulges out a bit but the cover still fits over it. My telescope now looks exactly like the one in the photo. Thought about just using a sheet but this is much better. Highly recommend.
