Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pads have become the standard by which all other pads are judged. Decelerator pads are made from a "super soft" rubber blend that provides maximum recoil reduction and shooting comfort.

Perfect for my older Spanish double barrel. It had a good pad on it but I didn't like the white line spacer. This pad compliments the classic look of my side by side. The pad was not difficult to grind and the recoil management is good.

Pad is made of high quality material that has a noticeable effect on recoil. Very attractive color that gives a traditional look to any gun it is fitted to. Next time I need recoil pad this will be it. The name Pachmayr is still very credible for good recoil reduction.

Very nice recoil pad, would purchase this brand again. Easy to work with during the sanding and shaping process. The pad is very well made and seems to be a very durable material. The pad provides much more cushion than the factory stock pad on my shotgun.

THE IMAGE IS NOT THE CORRECT ONE. GO TO PACHMAYR'S WEBSITE AND LOOK FOR THE 01414 PAD to get an idea of what it looks like. It is a ribbed, hollow core design made of quality materials and well finished. Get the correct size because hollow-core designs do not tolerate too much material removal from the sides. Also, finish with a finer grit sandpaper than recommended, use the same paper as the stock. Armour-all is a good cleaner and preservative. Follow the directions carefully and don't be lazy or sloppy.
