This hand made 4/4 PTVNSH300 violin is designed for beginning to immediate violin players. The violin is made with all hand carved aged spruce on top, and selected Maplewood for the rest of it. All high quality wood which has been dried for 30 years under suitable conditions. This violin is 100% hand made by our master-level violin maker with great care and attention. Antiqued Brown and 100% hand oil varnished. The back arching is well executed and the carving clean and accurate. The strings are properly spaced, and the neck is very comfortable. It comes complete with a high-end carbon fiber violin bow, a high quality Oblong lightweight violin case. Bow has double pearl eye, genuine unbleached Mongolian horsehair, silver wrap and leather bow grip. Case has matching blanket and two bow holders. Other features include delicately inlaid purpling, and solid ebony fingerboard, expensive and beautiful solid ebony pegs, chinrest and tailpiece. It comes with a brand new metal practice mute and a superior shoulder rest. High quality SKY rosin cake is also included. The varnish look gives you a definite sense of "antiqueness". The sound is deep and rich. Actual item looks much better than photos here. This violin has rich powerful and deep sound, excellent projection and great sensations while playing. No resultó lo que esperaba llego con varios cambios a lo que especifica la publicaciónMe llego un arco de madera no de fibra, el cordal es plástico pésimo, las cuerdas son de muy mala calidad, el higrometro no funciona y el diapasón no es ébano es pino pintado.Aparte no hay una etiqueta en el violín que certifique la marca y serie que me están vendiendoCambiándole algunas piezas pueda que funcione

Pros:The finish is beautiful.The pegs work really well.The bow is straight (not warped).The case must be good because it arrived in a huge box with absolutely no packing material. It must have taken a beating, but the bridge and sound post were still up.The shoulder pad is good quality.Cons:The strings are really poor quality (just wires).The strings are way too high off the fingerboard. I know the nut is too high. The bridge might be, too.I didn’t try the rosin, tuner, mute, or case straps. They’re probably adequate.Now I have to decide if I’m sending it back to Amazon or sending it to a luthier for adjustments and a good set of strings. Hmmmm.....
