I thought they were regular tube athletic socks but they aren’t They are for a Halloween costume so it’s not a big deal but the description is misleading See pic of actual product in case you want traditional tube socks

I couldn't believe how much these socks shrank in the wash, but the fabric still stretches enough that they still fit my 8 year old. He's loving tall socks and these are comfortable for him.

I do NOT recommend these socks. We ordered a size large, which is supposed to fit US big kid shoe size 3-9. The kiddo we bought these for is right in the middle of that range.These are made for narrower feet and legs, and would traditionally be called a "girl's sock/stocking" in terms of look, fabric thickness, placement of heel and toe seam. I'm just talking about sock categories.These barely reach 1/2 up the calf, so even with the elastic they will fall down. And because they are made for narrower legs and feet, although the kiddo is not oversized in their legs, these stretch so that they are not fully opaque and you can see skin through them.Lastly, and more importantly, these are just cotton/acrylic blend socks. There is nothing so well-made or high-performance about them that they should be priced at $8.99 for a single pair, when you can get bundles of similar socks on AZ for that price.I do not recommend this product.*Disclaimer* I received this product through the Vine Program in exchange for an honest review. These socks fit my 9 year old son perfectly. The colors are bright. They didn't fall down or need to be constantly pulled up.They were comfortable and good quality.And, as a bonus, they match exactly what Dipper wears in the Gravity Falls series.
