This file cabinet is exactly what I was looking for. It is sturdy enough for home office use and the drawers lock for security. It arrived well packaged, but did have one small quarter sized dent in the back, not enough to notice. I would definitely buy this again if I need another one.

I really like this file cabinet! It's well made, not flimsy like I've seen in stores. The 25" long drawers run smoothly and pull out all the way, so no more struggling to reach files in the back! And I've not had any tipping forward issues, like with light weight cabinets, when the drawer is pulled out.The company could use a little more Styrofoam to package it. The corners are thickly padded in the box but not the sides. This one has a small dent, low on one side, but not enough to send it back.Overall, it's perfect for what I needed for my genealogy files.

Given the other reviews I was concerned about the final product; but all worked out very nicely! Nothing was damaged, drawers open well, and keys lock all drawers.

I would say that this is an average file cabinet. It is not a cheap quality, but it is also not a high quality. The metal used is not a high gage metal, so it will dent easily. In fact, it arrived with a dent on one side. I did not return it because the dent is next to a wall and will not be noticeable. For the price, I was expecting a little sturdier file cabinet.

Came perfect and I'm so excited to have a good place to store my files. I moved into a smaller place and I have a lg 2-Drawer Lateral Filing Cabinet that takes up as much space as a a dresser. This new cabinet stands in the corner not taking up much space at all. I ordered in gray so it not as noticeable. Came assembled. Not dented like a lot of reviews state. (To which I'm really sorry yours did) At my work I learned, people are quick to complain (to get resolution) but few take time to compliment.

All of the metal file dividers were placed in to the bottom drawer which would not allow the bottom door to open. So I had to jiggle the third drawer until it came off it’s track and the entire rail came disconnected from the back, which allowed me to remove the items from the bottom drawer. Then both bottom drawers had to be removed and the unit had to be placed on its side to make sure the track rails could be connected to the back of the unit, which could only be done from the bottom of the unit. Then the drawers could be reinstalled. Altogether this was ridiculous and could have been avoided if the file dividers were not all jammed into the bottom drawer. There were no instructions, and minor dents in this brand new unit. Fortunately I was able to fix it which is a good thing since I cut open the box it arrived in. I was very disappointed in the arrival condition, especially for a product that was almost $300. I can’t imagine just anyone having to go through all of this for a filing cabinet that should have arrived in perfect working condition.

Delivered by FedEx in cardboard box, driver just hoisted it over his shoulder and walked into the house. He waited and helped, get the box opened, to see that it was dent-less, and it is perfect. Color as shown, terrific , big drawers, slide beautifully, locks well, hold a lot, and looks classy.Just what we wanted for our home computer room. Well made.

Excellent deep-drawer file cabinet. It came in dented, but by the time I got it out of the box, the packaging was destroyed. Other than that, be sure that you have enough depth to fit this cabinet. I miscalculated and was planning on putting this in an accordion-style door closet and it was 2” too deep (that’s what she said)It’s super sturdy though and the cabinet drawers, even though the outside was dented, open and close smoothly and it seems to be a solid build.It came assembled, which was my favorite part.

This cabinet arrived quickly and in perfect condition. There wasn't a scratch on it. I have the drawers completely filled with paper instruction booklets, and the drawers glide smoothly and easily. The bottom several drawers have dividers built in, and I haven't figured out yet if those are removable or not. The only thing, I guess, that would make this better would be removable/addable dividers in every drawer, just to help keep things upright.I should note that I do NOT use hanging files. My leaflets are in there loose. The bottom of each drawer has regular ridges in it, I would assume to help strengthen the drawer bottom. They are metal and smooth, and they aren't giving me any trouble with storing my products.I was nervous ordering a cabinet online, especially since I read a lot of reviews online about cabinets arriving damaged. I wanted something heavy duty, so I just ordered the heaviest one I could find. This one did not disappoint!Update: I've been using these cabinets for several years now (I now have SIX!) They get daily, regular usage, open and close, open and close, open and close. They are still in great shape, are smooth to operate, and do not look worn, even with how much I use them (some of those drawers I may open a few dozen times a day each.) I am considering getting a seventh as my business continues to grow. Would highly recommend this file cabinet.
