I use these folders as general category holders, with several plain manila folders in each, and so far they are holding up. But they are SUPER expensive!

These plastic files are sturdy and fit my file cabinet perfectly. Only complaint is the holes to which the label tabs insert are closed too tight and tabs dont slip in easily like all other pendaflex files in my long life.

The colored vinyl ones with black metal are less expensive but stick up too high in the cheap file cabinet and cause jams. These fit much better. I had some from 10 years ago that still are in use and look new. This time it’s worth spending for the quality.

I am very organized and like the clear view aspect of the hanging file folder when you take these out to work on something. Over the years I’d had the paper Pendaflex hanging folders, but the glue eventually let go and I wasn’t so well hung at that time. These are heat sealed over the sturdy bar so you never have to be concerned about not appearing well hung whether you are in your home office, at work, or just generally getting yourself situated. Nobody will look at you and make you feel vulnerable because you will be confident you are well hung.

This is a great hanging file folder, however I was very disappointed that the metal part pf the folder was not coverd with plastic. I most certainly would have preferred that little detail.
