How to know the volt of pool system

Note About Remote Control
While this light comes with remote control, it can also be controlled through the wall switch. The RF signals of remote controls sometimes do not transmit very well underwater. Additionally, pool light housings that are metal can impede the signal of the remote. Please put the remote control close to the pool light. You may even have to dip the tip of the antenna in the water ( this will not harm the remote ).

This light is absolutely fantastic. It works great. It’s bright has several options and is affordable more importantly when I accidentally broke our remote, I reached out to the company for a replacement. They offered to send me a replacement free of charge. I would buy this product again, simply based on the customer service I received 10 out of 10 recommend this product

I liked the light, it was bright, nice colors, but the remote was pretty much useless from the get go.A few months ago the LED started to take a few seconds to come on, and now it just won't come on at all. No water got into the waterproof enclosure, and the circuit breaker never tripped. Not worth the trouble of replacing with the same model if it's only going to last 12 months, with very little use.

I won't go into the installation because it's similar to installing any other light in your pool and there isn't anything particular with this product vs. other pool light bulbs. I bought this for both energy efficiency and for the multiple lighting options.But after installing, I realized I could not turn on/off the light or use the other features of the remote that came with the unit. The instructions vaguely (due to language barrier) indicate that the remote won't work due to the water or metal blocking the radio waves from the remote- that you would have to waterproof the remote (which they also include a plastic pouch with multiple zip lock slides with the package) and use it under water right next to the bulb- but that didn't even work. So I spent a good amount of time installing and now it doesn't work- great.The vague instructions then give more or less a hint that there is a workaround- by turning on and off the pool light using the pool's lighting mechanism (fortunate for us, that's through a phone app) to scroll through SOME but NOT ALL of the various lighting features in the bulb. So, you can turn it on and off a few times and a new lighting feature will appear- then if you turn it on/off again, another color or type of blinking feature will appear. I get some of the colors (I can't get red for instance) and some of the various blinking features). So, that's good enough for me- but more or less, I wasn't completely satisfied with the produce and there just has to be a better product that can work with a phone app to change the colors.

Light is bright and easy install. Remote does not work more than 2 feet from light . They give a heavy duty plastic water tight bag to put remote in and you can submerge it. It works right next to the light no problem. All functions well also . Lotta cool features on the remote . Only downfall is it doesn’t work from a decent distance.. or I would have given a 5* review.. still worth the money.. local pool stores in Jersey want almost 160.00$ for they’re lights..

Great pool light and the tent works perfectly with no problems or issues, the only 2 problems I see with this light is that it should be brighter just s bit more, my pool is not that big and the opposite side barely gets any light. The second issue is that the remote does not come with battery. You have to go out and buy a battery 23A or A23 before you can use the remote.

Regardless of the negative reviews, I purchased one. It lasted 4 weeks, the remote control worked if you got real close to the light, but the light did not survive the electrical storm that came thru one night. Via Prime, I returned it and replaced it with another. The second one works (so far) but the remote does not. Not at all. This is the poorest quality item that I have every purchased from Amazon Prime.

Yes the remote is the weak link but it does work. In our case I don’t change the color frequently. I’ve found the color that enhances our pool to our liking and leave it there. I placed the antenna in the water set the color and done. There’s no need to reset each time the lights come on. Color is rich and with two of these our pool is full of color.Longevity is unknown for now but I’ll update in the future of any issues.
