I have only used this kind of thing at a friends house. These are a more affordable price for an occasional use than what my friend has and I got a set. They are evenly sized and well made. I had no trouble putting either larger commercial eggs or the farm raised eggs of a friend of a friend in them similar to what my friend who grew up using egg cups does. The glaze was a bit uneven on one in am unobtrusive place, but at this price I cannot complain. I have figured out how to coddle my eggs in my instant pot and eating them is much easier with these and the egg top cracker I bought to open the tops.I would buy again.

These 4 Porcelain egg cup holders are nicely finished and stand a bit taller than the other egg holders I’ve had in the past. They are also more delicate/thinner looking and the opening that holds the eggs are smaller making the eggs sit higher up in the holder. I feel like there is more of a chance for the eggs to fall out.

These are very simple porcelain egg cups. Good quality porcelain, and good for all of your egg holding needs! Small, but reliable. Love them!

These porcelain egg cups have made my weekend breakfasts so much more elegant, and I love how sturdy and chip-resistant they are. Plus, I’ve even used them for serving mini desserts at brunch with friends, and they looked so cute and classy on the table!

Sadly, none of my American-sized (pastured) organic eggs fit in these egg cups—which is a real shame because they’re honestly very well-made. They’re a lovely shade of white, glossy, and have a smooth, clean finish with no rough edges. When I ordered them, I didn’t pay close attention to the dimensions (totally my fault). The interior diameter of the cup is 1.5 inches, so your egg would need to be just a hair smaller than that to sit properly. Out of curiosity, I did a little research, and it turns out even American hen eggs classified as small might be too big unless you’re talking about the tiny “Pee-wee” size. Otherwise, these would be a great fit for larger quail eggs. That said, if you’re planning a special brunch with soft-boiled Pee-wee or quail eggs—topped with a little caviar!—these would be perfect. Just gorgeous little cups… for gorgeous little eggs. Which is why I’m giving them four stars.
