This box really surprised me. The build quality and materials are excellent. As for security, this isn't meant to be a high security lockbox. However, that doesn't mean it isn't solidly built. The plastic casing is thick. The latch and lock are metal. The included security cable can be optionally attached to the box while it's opened. The cable latch is also metal. A rubber gasket provides a seal when the box is closed. Overall, very well built and designed but again, this is not meant for high security. The cable thickness is appropriately sized but could be easily cut. The box is very solid but it is plastic. But someone is going to have to put some effort to remove or open it.

This is a solidly made product, but it's almost too solid/heavy for simple travel use. It's also relatively small (don't let the product pictures fool you, there's no way even half the stuff on the picture could fit in there. I am also relatively nervous about the locking mechanism and haven't really trusted it beyond just keeping a few semi-valuable things separate in a larger safe. Odd design, not the easiest to open. I'd pass if presented the chance to buy it again.

I would recommend not buying this. It’s locked and I can’t get it open. I’ve tried the tips listed along with the product and it still will not open. My passport is in it and I need it to travel. I’m going to have to bust into it.
