First my resume: I have been doing track days for a decade; I instruct and have done some endurance racing. I initially purchased a set for the rear of my 370Z and was really impressed. So, when I got an opportunity to run at Summit Point on very short notice, I ordered the front set.I can say these are legitimate race pads and not hyped-up street pads. I would compare them to CarboTech XP8's. Also, I don't think I have ever encountered a pad that bed in so nicely. The pad transfer layer is just beautiful without any rotor prep. They would be perfect for a novice or intermediate HPDE student.An advanced driver could cook these if they really tried, but there would be no surprises. Remember, eyes up, park your ego at the door, and have fun!
