Got this tool in but it does not hook to a Chevy truck low or high side on a 134 A system. Does it need another adapter? It won’t go onto the fittings. Am I missing something here?

This is well made and comes with all the items in the listing. It works well and allowed me to quickly swap out valve cores. I'm not sure what's meant by magnet in the description. I was thinking maybe it had a magnetic tip to hold the valve core, but I can't detect any magnet there. That said, it does hold the core in the tip well, so perhaps it's just a translation issue, no big deal. Overall it's a great tool.

This is a really nice tool and of course it's a must-have for servicing A/C units. What I really like about this particular one, is they included everything you'll need right in the box. Generous quantity of valve stems, and the adapter which is necessary for connecting to R410A and R32 mini split units. This adapter is necessary, and you can't just use any adapter with such a tool, as the adapter must be hollow to let the valve core through. So the inclusion of the adapter is a game changer. I like the all brass design which will surely hold up well. Although the handle is plastic, if you take reasonable care of your tools and don't make a habit of dropping it onto the pavement from the rooftop, it'll be just fine. I used it a couple of times so far, and in my experience it seals well and does the job nicely. In addition to replacing valve cores, I find it useful to simply hook up to measure pressures. As you might know, there have been occasions where the valves in some of the new mini splits can get stuck at times. To avoid any risk of this happening when measuring refrigerant pressures, I can simply connect this tool first, connect my gauges to it, use the tool to loosen the valve, do my measurements, snug up the valve again and disconnect, without any risk of leaking refrigerant in the process - and if anything does go awry, as the tool is already connected I can easily retighten or replace the valve if needed - so it gives me extra piece of mind in the process.

This is a great item and saves a bunch of time by allowing valve core removal without having to recover the system. If you do AC or refrigeration, this is a must-have. This is worth its weight in gold.

Leaks, bad and does not hold a vacuum, unable to use because it leaks so much refrigerant.

Let me preface this review with this statement; "I do NOT order items that I do not fully intend to use myself. I sometimes use these items in ways other than perhaps the manufacture would recommend but I always try to review the item to reflect its value, craftsmanship and useability. I also do NOT do "unboxing" type reviews, I instead opt to put the item in use and review AFTER it has either proven itself or failed." That all said, let's get into it.IF you are doing A/C work on any kind of a level, Pro or DIY, this IS a must have tool. I do tons of automotive servicing and installation in vintage/classic vehicles of all shapes and sizes, this tool is a BIG time saver no doubt. Once you get the "hang" of how to use it, it will be your go to. The best money spent that is just what the Doc ordered.Bottom line; IF you DO A/C.....DO this tool !!
