Step 1
With the valve closed, connect the QCC-1 connector of the adapter to the tank valve and tighten securely. Then turn the 5-40 lb propane tank upside down.
Step 2
Thread a 1"-20 female throwable cylinder onto an empty 16 oz. propane fuel cylinder.
Step 3
Open the 5-40 propane tank cylinder valve.
Step 4
Then open the on/off control valve and let the gas flow until the reservoir is full.
