i bought this thing for my camcorder to find out it's video output is smashed and it don't work. oh well, i used this capture card for my wii and playstation 2 instead and boy did it work great, the recording quality is alright (after heavy tweaks in obs) and the audio quality is excellent (tho for some reason it's ever so slightly picking up my voice).thing is tho that this thing is not good at all out of the box and the audio is just deep fried. for recording software without configs like android usb webcam tools, yucky. but for software like obs, this is a great capture card.however atleast for me, despite my unit having both white and red rca ports, this gizmo only actually sends my computer a mono audio signal, so dont expect any surround sound or just stereo, its probably mixing the 2 audio channels into a single mono stream. good enough, unless you need stereo in which case, just buy another little gadget that takes your red and white rca plugs and shoves it into a 3.5mm jack and another doohickey that turns that into a microphone signal or a usb plug so you can record it.delightful little product.

Device works but cable is poor quality. It looses connection and have to wiggle it all the time.
