The cards are nice and think, as well as a decent size, but there is not dividers for the stories. So you have to sort them every time. I do think it is a great learning tool to teach kids how to tell stories, being able to identify what could happen next, work on speech. Etc.

note: the three bundles that come in the box are all mixed up but you do have all 26 letter cards (each letter card has a prompting picture i.e., Ee for Elephant), 1-10 (with 3 icons on the other side for your little to count to get to the number you're looking for), basic shapes and colors. The color cards are nice because it includes indigo, pink, white, black and brown in addition to the traditional rainbow colors. The cards are thick but not too thick. Thick enough to be handled for a few years but not sure it would stand up to toddler destruction and catastrophic spills. I wouldn't use give these cards to a little one to use on their own, it's definitely something a parent should use to interact and coach a little one. I did wish these were on an organizing ring so you won't lose any. The box probably won't last, and I'll end up putting these in a little bag or plastic box instead. But a great starter set for little ones, especially for parents looking to give their little one a head start on vocabulary and starting on concepts.

The images are not related to each other. Also, the images are blurry and not easily distinguishable. For this price compared to the quality, I do not recommend this product.

My kids and I love this set of cards! I like the sturdy quality of the paper, the colorful, engaging pictures, the fact that simple sentences are included to help them practice reading the words in context while reinforcing other sight words, the number of words included in the set, and that similar looking words are included on the front and backs of cards. Everything is very thoughtful. Overall this is the best set of cards that I have found for quality, value, and number of words.I subtract one star for having the words printed next to the card holes, having a font that is not a standard early reader font (the capital letter I looks like a lower case L and a the number 1, a and g are not typical beginner font a and g), and having double sided cards. Of these, the double-sided feature of the cards is the biggest negative. I understand that it probably comes down to printing and shipping costs. I think so highly of this set of cards that I would be willing to pay a little more to have single sided cards to allow for easier sorting of words that are mastered/needs work/unknown. But, to have a set of cards that includes almost double the number of cards than other similar card sets makes up for it. I would buy this again, and I'm considering making this my new standard gift to PreK kids and their families. I would definitely buy this again, and I recommend this set.

My 3rd grade students love these sight word rings. They use them independently in groups of 2 or 3 when I am working with other students. They have the sight word, a sentence and a picture. I do recommend these cards for struggling students or younger kids who need to learn sight words.
