Bought this hoping I could fit on redcat gen8, looks really nice. Feels very solid, does not mount up to redcat though. Redcat has shocks mounted on top of axles, these are mounted behind. Would be great if I could see this product made specifically for redcat gen8

Putting it together was very easy. There were a couple threads in the inner portal housings that were a bit tight but no major problems screwing it together. If i get another axial with portal axles i would buy these again.

I was originally looking to purchase Treal Axels because of all the hype around that company but they were unavailable. I'm glad they were unavailable because this right here is a much better deal and all the parts fit perfectly without any modifications to the SCX10.3 chassis. Everything just fits. Just make sure to use the hardware that comes with this kit, some of the bolts have different length vs stock. It took me about an hour to do the front axel. It added a good amount of weight to the front of my rig. I'm not going to be doing the rear axel for now but I have put the rear diff cover on and it was also a perfect fit. So far I wheeling with this axel for about 10 hours and its been solid!
