I initially got this RCA to HDMI converter so we could connect our old DVD player to our new TV. It worked well and was very easy just to plug in the RCA connectors to the converter then the hdmi into it, and we were able to watch the DVDs on our new TV. Then we found or on Wii and this also worked very well for that. I'm am well pleased.

We got a new TV but still have our old Wii that we wanted to use, so this connects it to our new TV like a champ! The picture is just as good (or bad depending on your thoughts) as it ever has been on the wii, and it connects easily. It was easy to setup and is just plug and play!

This is an excellent RCA to HDMI converter. It's plug n play and works well. It is a great value for money if they continue to sell it at the price of $8 for 1 unit. I will update this review if needed based on further experience.

device will not transfer anything to digital...does not work even when videos are watched and you have done everything correctly. Spend a few more dollars and get something that will not leave you disappointed

RCA to HDMI Converter by wtyixsI had some family videos on old Hi-8 video tapes that I needed to convert to digital before the camera failed, and I lost the ability to play the tapes for good. Professional conversion costs are prohibitive, but this converter solved my problem.The camera uses an RCA patch cord, and I had no way to get the signal into my Windows PC in a suitable format.I used this converter for the RCA input, the HDMI output went to an HDMI to USB-3 video capture card, and from there to the computer. Creating a digital format using OBS Studio free was a snap, and I am no longer in danger of losing my valued videos. Note only one audio cord in the picture, since the camera had no stereo. Other users might want to get an HDMI to thunderbolt capture card.The whole setup costs less than one professional conversion.The build quality of this converter is excellent. All seams and joints are smooth and well milled. All plugs and sockets are firm fitting. The case feels solid and heavy.I highly recommend this converter for anyone who needs to get from the old RCA format to a modern plug format, and the price is great.Of course, this unit can output to an HDMI monitor for viewing.Considering the low price, I was surprised at the quality of the converted vids.I would recommend the wtyixs converter to a friend, for quality, and value for money.

This RCA to HDMI converter did a good job of connecting my Atari 7800 to my TV with only HDMI inputs.I could discern no difference in the upscaling quality at 720 or 1080.The power input is mini-USB, which is a bit anachronistic in 2025, but it does come with a power cable, albeit a short one, so if you don't have USB power on the back of your TV this may need a longer cable.I don't have another composite-to-HDMI converter to compare this to, but I'm pleased with the quality relative to the $8 price point.

This product is perfect. It includes all the parts needed to connect the DVD/VCR player to our LED TV, and everything works great.

Good adapter for converting old-school RCA to HDMI. A nice to have for my old gear and it works really well.
