Red line Oil is like Frank's Hot Sauce, I put that stuff in everything. I think it's well worth the little extra cost.

I have tried and number of different gear oils in the ptu of my Escape as the previous owner never changed it. After putting this in my ptu the gear changes were instantly noticeable, smoother, sharper all around better! Did not expect!

I would have given 5 stars except Redline won't make there quart caps large enough that my fluid pump will attach. So I had to put the gear oil in a 96 ounce bottle so I could use my Slippery Pete's fluid pump with the different sized caps.

I use Redline all of the time because of the excellent and dependable quality. Their gear lube is no different, you can't lose. It is worth the little bit extra since you don't service the rear axle as often, so get the good stuff and relax.

Changed my Front and Rear differential fluid in my BMW X3 and really noticed a difference in the lag between gears, no more hesitation from stop to go.
