Easy install, took about 20 minutes. Hood holds well and lift speed is smooth and consistent.If short, pull hood down from side until you can reach center. These shocks lift center of hood about 90” or 7 1/2 feet from grill center.Be aware of hood height when open, especially in low garages. My garage door is 9 feet, so I have about 1 1/2 feet of clearance inside.

Instructional sheet is excellent and installation straight forward. Although unclipping the wiring harness is not necessary (I didn't), which they say in the instructions, would make the installation easier. To unclip the wiring harness, probably best to use bent nose needle nose pliers, which I do not have which is why I skipped that step.

Great product with a straightforward installation. The build quality is solid. Picked the hood up quite a bit when I put the proprod down. Not sure why Ford wouldn't include these as standard equipment in the Bronco.

Great product. Opens the hood much higher. The vehicle should come with this from factory. But luckily, the installation isn’t hard.

As soon as you open the shipping tube and slide out the contents you know that this is a company that takes pride in their product! Very impressive packaging, Good quality parts, Neat legible instructions with clear photos and limited tools needed. So easy to install it was almost a pleasure and they work perfectly! The hood opens with ease and stays open wider than with the prop rod. The prop rod was never a problem but I am so glad that I went with these, I don’t think I have ever been so happy with something I didn’t really need.
