Loved how well packed it was, instruction manual was perfect too, no drilling, no weird stuff - great buy! (Don't forget to unhook the thingy off the hood when putting the cylinders, took me a while).

The install instructions were accurate, easy to follow with illustrations. The products looks well-made, time will telll. The ease of opening and closing the hood is now fairly smooth, no more manual hood rod on my engine bay. The hood support is sturdy and the lift capacity is smooth.

I purchased hood lifts for my 2024 Tacoma and am extremely pleased with the product. The installation was straightforward—no drilling required, just a simple bolt-in process. The kit was thoughtfully packaged, and the instructions were clear, with color pictures for easy reference. Additionally, the instructions included a QR code linking to an installation video, which was well-produced and helpful. Overall, the setup process was smooth and well-executed.However, I encountered a small issue with the driver’s side mounting plate. On the passenger side, the mount plate aligns with the hood support, and when you tighten the bolt, it secures the plate firmly in place. The bottom of the passenger-side mount has a 90-degree curve that fits into a hole in the truck’s body, adding stability when tightening.The driver’s side, however, is slightly different. While the bottom of the driver-side plate rests securely against the truck body when tightened, the top part has no similar support. As a result, the upper section of the mount twists when the bolt is tightened. To resolve this, I used a small clamp with cardboard padding (to prevent scuffing the paint on the hood bracket) to hold it in place during installation. It wasn’t a major inconvenience, but I feel the design could be improved to provide better support for the upper section of the driver’s side mount.Once installed, the hood operates effortlessly—it truly feels like magic!One other minor critique: the stickers on the struts face inward. I wish they faced outward so the branding would be more visible. It seems like a missed opportunity to showcase the cool design.Despite these minor issues, I’m overall very happy with the product and would recommend it.
