I bought this triangle because it was supposed to fit in the receptacle in my VW GTI's tailgate. It does not fit. It Is too large. If you want to put it in that spot, this isn't the triangle for you.

THIS ITEM IS A JOKE!!! IT'S A COMPLETE PIECE OF JUNK!!!!! It wouldn't even stay up on my kitchen table while assembling so it surely would never be of any use on the highway or street with cars passing.

I haven't had to use this yet, but I was a little surprised at the flimsiness of it, especially based on some of the reviews. Not sure how well it would stay upright when needed.
