I used this reflective insulation in my SUV build to help regulate the temperature when I am camping, and it really made a noticeable difference. It was easy to cut to size and fit perfectly in the windows. The double bubble design adds a nice layer of insulation, and the reflective foil does a great job at keeping heat out during the day. It’s lightweight, easy to store, and super useful for anyone with an RV or doing car camping. Definitely glad I picked this up.

Wow, it's pretty much the bubble wrap you get for wrapping dishes with a silver lining over it. Exceptionally thin, definitely gonna have to double this up to have any effect in my RV windows and in the cupboards.I have ordered other brands of this silver bubble wrap and they were comparable in price if not cheaper and 3 to 4 times thicker. If I were you I would keep shopping around.

Review of ”Reflective Window Insulation, Double Reflective Bubble Insulation Sheet, Aluminum Foil Bubble Shield...":(Please refer to my reviewing guidelines at the bottom of the page). We live on our 52' Trawler 100% of the time and anchor out and travel 99.99% of the time. We have 6 marine air conditioner/heat pumps on board (1 for each stateroom, 1 for pilothouse, 2 for the galley/saloon) but we never use them due to the amount of energy that they consume. Instead we've painted the top of our canvas white with elastomeric paint to reflect the sun and also spend a lot of time in the water cooling off in the summer, and we use diesel heaters for heat in the winter. This type of insulation is far better for reflecting solar heat than it is for insulating radiant heat (or cold) but we wanted to try it for covering our 17 individual lower level portlights to help the boat stay warmer by not loosing so much heat in the winter. The insulation is pretty much identical to other 3mm thick bubble wrap coated with aluminum types of insulation on the market (they are all closer to 2mm thick by the time you receive them). It's very easy to cut with a scissors that you use for cutting thicker materials like kitchen or gardening shears/scissors. I would suggest you not use your office or sewing scissors for this because it will most certainly help dull them. I've measured the dimensions of the piece of insulation that arrived before cutting it up and it was 23-3/4" wide x 10' long. One of the ad photos says that it's 3mm thick but it actually measures 2mm thick like most others that say they are 3mm. Perhaps they've been compressed somewhat.I've done a bit of market research on Amazon for this specific type of product and find that the $8.32 sale price is competitive for the market in either the 2mm or 3mm thickness. I've assigned this 4 stars because it is an average quality but at a good competitive price for the market. I would've assigned 5 stars if it were indeed 3mm or if the ad did not misstate the thickness. My responsibility as an Amazon Vine Reviewer:Considering the Amazon rules/regulations for being a Vine Member It is obvious that it is very important to Amazon that the person doing the review has indeed inspected, tested, used the product as well as being aware of the competitive situation of the market segment. This is so it can be fairly compared and reviewed whether good, bad, average, or anywhere in all of the grey area between. One thing that I wish were better defined by Amazon is exactly what each star should represent from 1 to 5 so that every Vine member would use the same guide in that regard. So, to let you know the guide that I use, I include it as follows:I always start off considering that average is 3 stars, and an average rating to me is:The product was correctly represented in the ad.The manufacturing quality is as expected. The product performed as intended. The product operating/user guide if needed is helpful. The product is priced accordingly. Then after inspection, measuring, testing, using, wearing, or whatever is requiredI add or subtract from the average as follows:Subject to additional stars:Additional product features not expected that are useful.Manufacturing quality/performance above what was stated or expected.Included guides and/or useful information that is beyond the norm.Product pricing highly competitive for a superior product.Subject to fewer stars:The product was misrepresented in the ad.Manufacturing quality/performance below what was stated or expected. No useful guide or understandable user information when required.Product pricing is on the high side considering quality, features, or the market.all the best,dr

This is a really good price for the size, I think. This covers the entire new extension of our greenhouse which is 10 ft long. Our North side is insulated and we are covering it with reflective foil to retain heat. Our winters are long and the spring nights are cold so this is a must to keep our plants alive into summer. This helps a lot by also insulating and it reflects light back to the plants.

Ordered this for covering some windows with too much sun exposure. A little less thick and rigid than the stuff from the local hardware store but as I'm just using it to block/reflect light, it doesn't need to be thick.

Quality is ok. It's will work for what I need. This will go around a chicken hatcher to hold in heat. Simple and flexible install which is good for wrapping corners and odd shapes.

Used this on top of our spray foamed garage. Thick enough that you can work with it and stretch it a bit if you need to. We ended up having to buy a little more to finish the project. An electric staple gun came in handy too

This stuff is awesome. It arrived quickly, and it feels to be really high quality! I will say full disclosure: I will be using this as a thermal protectant for storage so I am testing it that way.The sheet is quite large at about 2 ft x 10 ft! I like that it comes with so much for what I consider a really reasonable price. I have not found it easy to poke or tear which is great. It also cuts with next to no struggle for fabrication.I attached images of the sheet and then its use for our purposes; I have heat sensitive and breakable materials and this works great as not only a cushion for the delicate items but also as a heat protectant/shield esp. in the summer heat. I really like it for its versatility, durability, quality, thickness, and ease of fabrication. We would most definitely buy more!!!!
