I try to avoid chemicals and dyes whenever possible. I have used this cheesecloth for years and was happy to find it here! The twine was new for me. It works great!

I hand-washed two sections of the cheesecloth and let it dry. It kept its shape mostly (last photo) I boiled two pots of water, meat and vegetables. I bundled my spices into the two precut sections I tied one with the cooking twine and the 2nd just twisting a section of cheesecloth around the spices and making a knot with part of the twisted section of cheesecloth. The cheesecloth stayed intact during the stirring, boiling, and simmering for 2-3 hours of cooking. Although a few bay leaves poked through in areas of the bundles it held it firmly and kept its shape. The bundles were removed and easily placed into the trash.--- No more whole peppercorns in my soup... Thank you.I didn't measure to see if it was 9 square feet, but it arrived on time and it worked great for what I needed.I'm glad I purchased the Regency Cheesecloth Ultra Fine / 500 ft Twine. and I would purchase this item again.
