This is an unsolicited review. I received no compensation in exchange for this review.I thought the plate amplifer in one of my EV elx112p speakers was cutting out, but it turns out my problem was the horn driver all along. I had already bought two of these LASE plate amplifier replacements, so I decided to mount them in a set of Peavey PV115 speaker cabinets I had lying around gathering dust. I have to say the install was a breeze and the outcome was better than I expected. The DSP controls are intuitive and easy to navigate. Everything works like it should. Plenty of headroom. Plenty of volume. I'll update if things change with time, but first impression is strongly positive.

The stock amps that come with these EV units suck. I have 3 blown amps to prove it ... after sitting for years in my garage, I invested in this new Lase Amp as it is significantly cheaper that the EV ( that blow anyway). Fits perfect, sounds good and love the EQ adjustment and screen. They even throw in new screws. I'll be replacing the other ones this week.

The shipment was fast, I had contacted the technician to tell him that I needed it before the 9th because it was to be brought to my country; I bought this article and brought it to the Dominican Republic and it doesn't work, the technician says it was a bad investment. I am sad because I do not want to return with a piece that does not work, taking up space in my suitcase.

I replace this one because the module that came with it had blown, after 11 years. Works great even in hot weather, with heat index 103 degrees. The module that came with it would go out in hot weather, anything above 88 degrees. I definitely love it, it also has vents for self cooling, previous one didn’t have that feature. And last but not least, it has features for live, speech, DJ, monitor and a db gain to raise volume , adjust bass, mids and treble. You won’t be disappointed

Pretty simple to remove the defective unit and install the new -- sound is just as clean and punchy as the original unit, and it's a nice bonus having the DSP. My only small complaint is that the original amp had RCA inputs in addition to the Neutrik inputs; not a huge deal, but....
