The charge lasts quite well, in my particular case it is quite efficient. I am a mechanic and I use them for a 1/2 impact gun, to loosen tires on both cars and trucks, to disassemble the suspension and change the wheels.

The battery is labeled 8 AH (Amp Hour). It performs about the same as the Dewalt 4 AH battery. The two batteries are about the same size. Don't expect a boost in battery performance.
