Good, solid old-school shoulder rest - and doesn't fall off of the violin like the Kuhn does.

My first violin shoulder pad is this brand. The rubber clamp finger protector sleeves rotted and fell off. It lasted 40 years but I could not find suitable rubber tubing to replace those pad sleeves. The new one [samd brand] fits great and will undoubtedly last longer than I do!

I've reviewed this shoulder rest elsewhere on Amazon. I use this shoulder rest with all of my violins, although I've tried and own about every shoulder rest imaginable.It puts the violin in the right position. The bendable legs not only fit but also securely and safely hold any Strad style violin.Make sure you order the right size (I'm about 6' and use the medium size with my 4/4s). With that, I'd recommend it to anybody.
